Located in the city centre of Brest and close to two university restaurants, our Brest campus is surrounded by 3 student residences. A new building is underway thanks to the help of Brest Metropolis, the Finistère Departement and Brittany Region.

CAEN

The students are currently attending their classes either at St Marie High School or on the MOHO premises as a new building is under construction thanks to the help of Normandie Region and the Urban Community of Caen la Mer. The new building will be located on the peninsula of the city centre of Caen.

Located on a 25 acres parkland, the Nantes campus includes a student residence and a restaurant. Since 2021, students are welcomed in the new building built with the help of the Pays de la Loire Region.

Located 10 minutes away from the city centre of Rennes, ISEN Rennes shares its premises with Rennes School of Business. This provides a pleasant working environment.

Getting to Brest

Arriving by train

There are regular connections between Brest and Paris by high speed train (TGV). Leaving from Paris Montparnasse station, the journey takes on average 5hrs 40 minutes.

All seats on TGV trains are numbered and must be reserved. Prices vary depending on the time and day of departure and you are strongly advised to book in advance in order to take advantage of the cheapest fares. For example the cheapest one-way ticket to Brest is currently available at 39€, whereas a ticket bought on the day will cost at least 100€.

Arriving by coach

A low-cost coach service, Ouibus, operates between Brest and Paris. This service offers quite comfortable travel with free-wifi, air-conditioning and an on-board toilet. However, the journey from Paris takes around 10 hours. Fares vary depending on your day and date of travel, so advance booking is highly recommended.

Arriving by plane

Brest Bretagne Aéroport is the city’s international airport. It is located just 11 kms from the city centre.

The Airport Shuttle bus

The ‘Navette Aéroport’ shuttle bus provides a regular service from the airport to Tram line A. The trip takes 10 minutes and a one-way ticket costs 1€60.

The bus runs 7 days a week all year.  But please note that there is no bus service on May 1st.

Getting to ISEN Brest

ISEN Brest is located close to the university campus in a residential area in the northeastern part of the city.

Public transport

If you arrive at Brest railway station, take Bus 1 (Direction Hôpital Cavalerie) from in front of the railway station and get off at ‘Liberté Quartz’. Then take Bus 3 to the campus. A single ticket is valid for this journey, but you must stamp it again when you get on the second bus.

Tickets and fares for public transport in Brest

Public transport in Brest is operated by Bibus.

Single journey tickets (1€60) and one-day travel passes (4€) can be bought on the buses but not on trams.  A 10-journey ticket can be purchased at ticket machines at the main tram stations. An annual travel passes is available at a reduced rate of 250€ for students (Pass Annuel Etudiant -26 ans)

Arriving by train

There are regular and frequent connections from Paris to Nantes by high speed train (TGV). Leaving from Paris Montparnasse station, the journey takes on average 2hrs 30 minutes.

Prices vary depending on the time and day of departure and you are strongly advised to book in advance in order to take advantage of the cheapest fares. For example the cheapest one-way ticket is currently available at 15€, whereas a ticket bought on the day will cost a minimum of 85 €.

Arriving by coach

A number of low-cost coach services arrive in Nantes from Paris and other major cities such as Bordeaux and Toulouse. These services offer quite comfortable travel with free-wifi, air-conditioning and on-board toilets. The journey from Paris takes around 5 hours. Fares vary depending on your day and date of travel, so advance booking is highly recommended. If you arrive by coach, your journey will end at Haluchères. From here you can take Tram Line 1 to the city centre.

Arriving by plane

Nantes Atlantique International is the city’s international airport. It is located in Bouguenais, 10 km (5 miles) southwest of Nantes city centre.

Transport from the airport

 

The Airport Shuttle bus

The ‘Navette Aéroport’ shuttle bus provides a regular service from the airport to the railway station (Gare Sud) in the city centre. The trip takes 20 minutes and a one-way ticket costs 9€.

The bus runs every 20 minutes from Monday to Saturday, and every 30 minutes on Sundays and public holidays. See the schedule here.  Please note that there is no bus service on May 1st.

Taxi

Taxi transfers to downtown Nantes take about 20 minutes from the Airport. A one-way fare costs 30-35€.

Getting to ISEN Nantes

ISEN Nantes is located in Carquefou, a pleasant, leafy suburban town on the north eastern edge of Nantes. By car, Carquefou is easily accessible by the Nantes ‘périphérique’ ring road (exits 40 and 41) and by the A11 motorway to Paris.
